Palaio Klima is a small village, situated on the south side of the island, between the villages of Elios and Glossa. It is 4km from the closest town Glossa and 22 km from Skopelos town. The closest beach is Armenopetra, 1.5 km.

Skopelos is one of several islands which comprise the Northern Sporades island group. The island is located east of mainland Greece and northeast of the island of Evia. The island is served by commuter ferryboats from the ports of Volos and Agios Konstantinos.
